To live, a tree needs air, light, heat, water and nutrients.
Some of these things come from Heaven, from the Sun, from the Father, others from the earth, from matter, from the Mother.
In the same way, we can say that the tree draws from the past, from its roots, from its family of origin and from its experiences, but it lives and transforms what it receives in the present, to bear fruit in the future.
The process of photosynthesis transforms the sap received from the roots,
carbon dioxide from the air and sunlight: it is the process of awareness, of life in general, of experience.
To do our best, we need strong, healthy roots and their nutrients (our family of origin)
and great openness (photosynthesis is greater the larger the surface area of the leaf) to God, to energy, to the flow of things.
Only in this way can we grow and transform what we receive into fruit for the future, and thus participate in the system with which we exchange our work.
